Following cosmetic surgery in Tunisia, there are a number of things you should do to ensure your convalescence goes smoothly.
Mon voyage santé, in partnership with Dr. Moez Kallel, has put together a list of essential steps to take:
Generally speaking, it’s important to stay well hydrated and eat healthily to stay in good health. Dr. Moez Kallel reminds you that this is all the more true and essential when it comes to convalescence after cosmetic surgery in Tunisia. In fact, drinking at least 2 liters of water a day and providing your body with the essential nutrients it needs will help you to more easily eliminate any impurities generated by the operation, reduce pain and improve the healing process.
Cosmetic surgery is still surgery
Your body has been put to the test, and you need rest more than anything. Resume light physical activity without putting any pressure on the operated area(s) from 4 weeks after the date of your operation, not before.
In the meantime, don’t exert any force, don’t make any sudden movements, don’t lift anything heavy, arrange for assistance at home if you have children, avoid driving for the first two weeks and always prefer the position indicated by Dr. Moez Kallel.
To avoid any problems of infection or poor healing, you need to keep your wounds dry: Dr. Moez Kallel is very insistent on this point.
In other words, up to 4 weeks after your operation, prefer light showers to baths.
For up to 6 months after the operation, avoid long periods of immersion in water, i.e. swimming in pools, spas or saunas.
Post-operative care must be provided by paramedical professionals. They are the only ones able to provide you with the care you need to avoid any complications. For this reason, you should work with a state-qualified nurse to organize regular visits to your home. He/she will provide the care you need to recover (dressing, cleaning, disinfection). You should expect a visit every day until the stitch removal date recorded on your medical record.
If your surgery requires it, plan to see a physiotherapist to perform manual lymph drainage 2 or 3 times a week for at least 1 month.
In all cases, strictly adhere to Dr. Moez Kallel’s prescription.
Long-term stabilization
To stabilize the results of your cosmetic surgery and avoid further pain, we will provide you with a bra and/or support girdle immediately after your operation, which you should wear morning and night for at least 1 month. In the case of compression stockings, these should be removed as soon as you arrive home.

Baldness, or even limited hair loss, is particularly resented and resented by men and women alike. Although it's not a disease, it's often seen as an inevitability. What is the difference between liposuction and an arm lift?
Flabby, drooping arms are a constant source of discomfort to the extent that they affect the quality of everyday life of patients who experience them.
Unfortunately, no matter how much you diet or exercise, this excess skin is very difficult to get rid of. In fact, the skin on the arms is one of the least elastic on our bodies, and this area accumulates fat very easily.
As a result, any weight gain is quickly reflected in the volume of the arms, and even after losing weight, it is rare to see the...
Developed in the early 1960s in the United States, aesthetic breast surgery is performed on all patients with underdeveloped breasts who wish to improve their physical appearance. Over the last few decades, interest in sculpting the ideal shape of the breasts has grown, as evidenced by advertisements, posters and photos on social networks. But achieving voluptuous breasts with well-developed cleavage requires surgery, either breast augmentation or a breast lift.
Often, by undergoing cosmetic breast surgery in Tunisia, our patients not only radically change their appearance, but also boost their morale and self-confidence.
A radical change takes place!
Behind this change there are people...
First it was the preserve of Hollywood's biggest stars! These stars flaunted dazzling smiles and well-aligned teeth. But then the Hollywood smile became more democratic: nowadays, patients all over the world are asking for their smiles to be perfected.

There's one physical appeal that both men and women are equally keen to achieve: a flat stomach! As soon as the warm weather returns, it even becomes an obsession. So, yes, there are many ways to reshape your tummy, but one technique remains infallible: cosmetic surgery. And by cosmetic surgery, we mean abdominoplasty or tummy liposuction.
Belly liposuction is one of the most common cosmetic surgery procedures in the world, which explains its notoriety. Often, thinking they are a good candidate for tummy liposuction, our patients realize after consultation with our surgeons that they need an abdominoplasty instead.
Although these two cosmetic...
First, a brief background: breast prostheses are medical devices created in 1962 in the United States to modify the size, shape and contour of the breasts.
Since then, they have been constantly improved to offer patients the most pleasant and reassuring experience possible.
Today in Tunisia, we can pride ourselves on using the latest generation of breast prostheses with high performance and optimal rendering.
Texture
The purpose of envelope texturing is to create a bond between the breast prosthesis and the surrounding tissue. As a result, there are two textures:
Smooth: These are breast forms with a smooth surface that do not adhere to the...
